As we approach the November 4th trade deadline, rumors have started to pickup about what the broncos might be doing. Currently standing at 6-2, the Broncos might be viewed as buyers and should this be the case there are a couple players to keep your eye on both to be acquiring and sending away.

Potential Targets to acquire

Rashid Shaheed - WR (Saints)

Shaheed has arguably been the front runner for a potential trade with the Broncos. Shaheed stands at 6’0” 180 lbs., and would serve as a vertical threat for the Broncos. He becomes a free agent at the end of the season, and with the Saints likely looking to extend Olave, he might not be that pricey of a pickup for the Broncos to keep in mind. Shaheed would likely become the fastest player in this receiver room which provides plenty of big play opportunities for Nix, as he has already seen numerous routes and plays of 10+ yards, including an 87 yard TD in their matchup against the Giants. Shaheed is definitely a player to keep an eye on as we get closer to the deadline.

Jakobi Meyers - WR ( Raiders)

While it seems unlikely for a divisional rival to trade with the Broncos, Jakobi Meyers is a guy the Raiders openly have on the market and would pair perfectly with Sutton. At 6'2" 193, he is a consistent chain mover and he plays very well both outside and in the slot. Should the broncos want to address the WR position at the deadline, Meyers could potentially be a guy to lookout for.

Tariq Woolen - CB (Seahawks)

Should the Broncos go down the CB route, Woolen would be a great option. He is coming on the last year of his deal and other teams have inquired about him, suggesting there is a market available for him. He seems to be getting played out of his role by younger guys like Josh Jobe, and that could make him a good trade piece for Seattle. Coming in at 6'4" 210 lbs., he has elite tools like physicality and elite speed at a 4.26 and he would be a fantastic pairing alongside Moss and Surtain when he comes back from IR.

David Njoku - TE (Browns)

There are lots of reports from insider information that the Broncos are monitoring the TE market. A guy like David Njoku fits a lot of the previous categories; Last year of contract, younger guys emerging and looking to take their spot. Harrold Fannin Jr. seems to be emerging as a good, young option for the Browns which makes Njoku an interesting option.

Ben Cleveland - G (Ravens)

With the injury early on to Ben Powers, as well to the backup of Matt Peart, the Broncos might have a depth issue at LG. Ben Cleveland is a great option for the Broncos, standing at 6'6" 355 lbs., he would definitely help bolster the depth of this O-Line, as well as great depth for the return of Powers. He was a former 3rd round pick and with his massive stature and ability to play multiple interior positions, he would fill the vacancy well.

Players the Broncos might send away

Jaleel Mclaughlin - RB

Mclaughlin was quite the standout RB in the committee backfield a couple years ago for the Broncos. Since the drafting RJ Harvey and signing of J.K. Dobbins, he has taken the backseat and even fell to 4th on the depth chart. He still has some value and it would be smart to get some value from him if the Broncos are not going to use him in the run game.

Ja'Quan Mcmillian - CB

Despite the injury to Surtain and a potential strain on the depth at CB, it seems inevitable that first round pick Barron will eventually usurp some if not all of his role. Further, his contract is ending after this season and he could be looking for a place where he will get more playing time.

P.J. Locke - S

Similarly to Jaleel, with injury concern as well as time being taken away from him due to the signing of Talanoa Hufanga, the Broncos could look to move him before his contract expires at the end of the season. Guys like JL Skinner have also been more involved in the defensive playcalling than him.
